Our Story

42 years, 16 moves, 6 states, 4 kids, 2 countries, 1 couple - US!

That kind of over-simplifies it a bit. There's  a lot to fill in between the cracks there so here goes.

Kim and Roy met in high school in Ventura, CA. After graduation (3 seats apart) we started dating. Roy was transferred to Houston, TX after 6 months and there the adventures began. 

The joke in our family is that we're always off on "ADVENTURES" - always with quotes included. I think it stems from leaving home at 19 and always seeming to be on the move from there. We have four adult children now who all live within 15 miles of us (most within 5 miles). The longest we've ever lived in one place was 8 years in Colorado but we did live in Houston for about 17 years altogether in three different stints.

There's lots of stories to fill in but we save those for the campfire!

Now that we're retired, we just can't seem to sit still!
